Our Story
Joe Choate founded Choate's Air Conditioning and Heating Inc. in 1958, after retiring from serving in the United States Merchant Marines and then later working for International Harvester. Joe believed firmly in the old-fashion values of service, based on his faith and the scripture "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters" (Colossians 3:23).

In order to fully comprehend any problems you may be experiencing, Choate's will inquire about your HVAC and/or plumbing systems, your level of comfort, and your preferences and expectations through a comprehensive set of questions. Just like in a medical examination, Choate's technicians need to understand your history, habits, and symptoms to accurately diagnose and address any issues.

The Diagnosis Process

The malfunction of your HVAC and/or plumbing systems could be due to several factors. Choate's will conduct a thorough investigation of your systems, examining them from every angle, to identify the underlying reason for any issues you may be experiencing with their performance.

Our Findings

After pinpointing the underlying cause of any issue(s) with your system, a Choate's technician will forward you a digital copy of their findings through email or text. The technician will then walk you through the details of the findings, ensuring that you comprehend the issue(s) and its implications.

The Solution

After discussing the findings with you, the technician will propose choices that include repairing, enhancing, or replacing the issue(s) with your system, as well as any other necessities your home may require to ensure your comfort. The technician will create estimates for the work and send them to you via email for your evaluation and approval.

More than just a fix

In addition to resolving the issue and providing same-day relief, you will also receive an educational briefing on what caused the problem, how it impacted your system, and what measures were necessary to resolve it. Even after the technician departs, our support team is always available to provide ongoing assistance.
